My Research Fields: My main research interests are ecology, zoology and conservation biology, including:
1. Biodiversity and endangered species conservation;
2. Nature reserve construction and management;
3. Conservation planning theory and methods;
4. Economic assessment and GIS information system development on nature conservation.
Recently our research has focused on the historical and present distribution of endangered species in China. On the one hand, to determine the historical distribution change of the endangered species through consulting a large number of Chinese and foreign historic literature.
On the other hand, through a large number of field surveys and interviews to determine the distribution range of endangered species at present, thus, providing a scientific basis for the
protection of endangered species and establishment of the protected areas.
