The main role of the Wolf Law Forest LIFE Engagement Officer is to ensure that the project is engaging effectively with all its partners, stakeholders and consumers.            

This is a 7-year project that has a budget of £ 7m funded by the LIFE fund. Its aim is to restore areas of special protection (SPA) to favorable conservation status. Atlantic Coastal Oakwoods are the main habitats of the project. 
This is a partnership project between the Snowdonia National Park Authority (SNPA), RSPB Cymru, Dwr Cymru, Woodland Trust, National Trust, Children Life, Welsh Natural Resources (CNC) and the Welsh Government (WG). 

The realization of the project is co-ordinated and led by SNPA for each site in the north, while the sites of the south site sites are carried out by RSPB Cymru. The Engagement Officer will be responsible for engagement in the south and south Wales areas.  

The main scope of the work will be to control and abolish invasive species and develop sustainable grazing practices in order to protect these vulnerable habitats.
