The Markets & Production team are looking for an Energy Trader to join our team.  This is a great opportunity to develop your electricity industry knowledge.

Working in a close knit experienced team of Energy Traders you'll make a difference to Meridian Energy's bottom line through managing and co-ordinating the day to day demands of the New Zealand Electricity Market. As well as providing you with a lifestyle including a four day weekend, you'll be given the responsibility and autonomy to manage the electricity market to deliver low cost reliable power for our customers.

Extensive training is provided, so we're open to your previous work experience, however you will need strong analytical and numerical skills, the flexibility to work shifts that cover 24/7 and  proven communication skills.
