We seek a sourcing analyst to join our sourcing team. Some duties of this role will include commodity research, excel based trend analysis to determine pricing and negotiating with suppliers. The analyst will become a specialist for the Central / Eastern European markets. Additional information about the role is listed below. This person will be based in Paris, France, Richmond/London, England or Waregem, Belgium and will report to the Director, Global Energy Services.

Position responsibilities:
- Acquire and maintain expertise in specified natural gas and electric power markets.
- Regional commodity trend analysis and strategic portfolio management.
- Commodity research (macro and micro).
- Correlation/Regression analysis on varying data sets.
- Price Forecasting and curve analysis.
- Relationship management with customers (internal/external) suppliers and Public Utility Commissions.
- RFP product cost-benefit analysis.
- Review client’s sites and become familiar with relevant site issues.
- Investigate, identify, and provide impact analysis of pertinent market information.
- Negotiate supply terms and prices with well developed supplier base.
- Author recommendations to clients.
- Implement client-approved energy strategies.
- Other duties as assigned
Essential skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience (Master’s degree preferred)
- Minimum 1-4 years sourcing experience, preferably with energy sourcing experience in either gas or electricity, or equivalent professional experience in sourcing a relatively volatile good or commodity
- Ability to negotiate complex pricing and contracts
- Must be able to identify, analyze and comprehend information from numerous sources, and communicate pertinent information to the appropriate parties
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Proficient in computer technology especially Microsoft Office Products
- Provide excellent customer service internally and externally
- Work well on teams, within and outside of function
- Multiple language skills required. Preference given to German, Czech, Polish, Turkish or Hungarian speakers.
