Groundwork London is an environmental and social regeneration charity seeking to recruit an experienced Events &Training Coordinator to join our high performing and very successful Green Doctor programme.
Green Doctors primarily deliver home energy efficiency, health and wellbeing visits across London to vulnerable households. The visits are a holistic approach to caring for our clients’ needs and are a mix of advice, installation of small practical measures and referring on to other services in order to maximise the benefits for clients. In addition the programme delivers other energy saving projects and schemes.
The Events & Training Coordinator will support this service through managing and running promotional events; designing and delivering training for professionals who could refer into the services and designing and leading educational workshops for vulnerable clients.
You will be a people person with a passion for the environment and for helping vulnerable people. You must have experience in designing and running events and training sessions for a wide variety of audiences and knowledge of energy efficiency.
You must be comfortable with lone working and in managing your own workload. Experience of working with volunteers is also desirable.
A full clean driving licence is required.
