Description

Field Studies Council is an educational charity that delivers its mission of ‘Bringing Environmental Understanding to All’ via its extensive network of established learning locations based throughout the United Kingdom. We are looking to appoint an Education Team Leader for FSC London Region.

FSC London Region consists of FSC Juniper Hall, FSC Amersham, FSC London Projects (including the Royal Parks and Olympic Park) and FSC Epping Forest.  FSC Juniper Hall is a residential field centre, whilst the others are day centres.  This means is that there are a very high number of students taking part in learning experiences across the region, with 54,782 learners attending courses across the region in 2015. The London Region attracts a large number of groups from across the UK and internationally.

This is an exceptionally interesting and challenging role which requires an individual who can lead and inspire our FSC London Region Education team positively through the current curricular change and beyond.  A pre-requisite of this role is therefore bringing together the staff to promote excellence across a spectrum of activities and co-ordinating training across the region.

The Education team is currently made up of 15 dedicated individuals based at our Juniper Hall Field Centre and other locations across the region; which requires the Education Team Leader to undertake day-to-day management of the team be it on-site or remotely.

Salary will be in the range of £28,570 - £32,603 per annum.
