Ecologist, Manchester – Specialist Ecological Consultancy.
An internationally established environmental consultancy is offering a fantastic opportunity for an Ecologist to join their award-winning organisation. This business is made up of 12 offices which are strategically placed across the UK. 8 of these offices are equipped with ecology teams to provide consultancy to a variety of public and private sector clients. Our organisation is a market-leader in ecological consultancy and works on a variety of multimillion-pound projects across the UK.
The chosen Ecologist will work in conjunction with an existing Manchester team, managing their own projects and delegating work to junior members of staff. You will also receive support from the Senior and Principal Ecologists located in the Manchester team which will ensure your own pathway for development and progression.
You will hold at least 3 years’ experience in ecological consultancy and possess at least one protected species licence (Bat or GCN preferred). Your experience will demonstrate an ability to conduct both field and office based ecological activities and reveal proven experience in managing projects and liaising with clients. A full CIEEM membership and clean, UK driving licence will also be expected.
Salary – £23,000 to £30,000 (depending on experience) + Benefits.
Location – Manchester, North West England.
Reporting to – Principal Ecologist, Manchester.
