Are you a digital communications specialist who is passionate about supporting communities, tackling climate change and helping people achieve their potential. If so, we’d like to hear from you. We’re looking for a strong team player with a creative approach to communicating with and engaging audiences online.
The Digital Communications & Marketing Officer will join our busy Marketing and Communications Team with a focus on ensuring our digital content and online engagement tools are; maximising our reach, in line with current best practices and aligned to Groundworks brand and communications strategy.
Ideally you will have a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role in the charity, public or private sector.
We are looking for someone who has the following digital marketing and communication skills and experience:
- Strong, proven digital communication skills, with experience of successfully mobilising campaigns, projects or business activity online
- Experience in writing and implementing digital communications plans for projects or campaigns
- The ability to communicate compelling stories and key messages to specific target audiences through a variety of digital mediums
- Proven ability to produce high quality digital content using images, video and text
- Strong copywriting skills, particularly for digital content, including for a range of social media platforms
- Knowledge of basic-intermediate graphic design principles and experience of applying them when producing digital content
- A good working knowledge of Adobe CC Photoshop or Illustrator for creating visual content
- Video and / or sound recording and editing experience for the purpose of producing digital content
- Experience in building and/or editing WordPress websites
