Description  

The Development Officer, Major Gifts will contribute to and implement ClientEarth’s major donor programme, generating unrestricted income from major gifts. The post-holder will be responsible for data management, gift administration, prospect research and event management, and will support prospect cultivation strategies and donor stewardship activity, as well as providing general support for the major donor function.

About you

You will have proven experience in a development role, and particularly experience with individual giving or private philanthropy. You will be a reliable, self-motivated individual who thrives in a team environment. You will be solutions-oriented, able to bring imagination and initiative to the role, and be comfortable working closely with senior staff and with colleagues from throughout Europe and beyond. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong database management experience, and be passionate about the environment.
