We also currently launching a wildlife enhancement and re-wilding consultancy side to the business, Darwin WildScapes, which provides advice and implementation of small and large scale wildlife enhancement a management schemes on public and privately owned land. We have had good take up so there will be opportunities to get involved with this too for the right candidate.
What are we looking for?
We are expanding our team to meet increasing demand and are seeking experienced Ecologists and Senior Ecologists to join us. Candidates should be well rounded technical ecologists and meet the following minimum requirements:
- At least 5 years professional consultancy experience;
- Demonstrable team and independent working skills; and
- Minimum Level 1 class survey licence for bats.
Additional skills that will be considered advantageous include:
- Managerial or mentorship experience;
- Mitigation licensing experience;
- Additional survey licences (particularly for great crested newts or dormice); and
- Experience of the planning system and associated technical processes such EIA and HRA.
Above all, we’re looking for conservation-minded ecologists with a passion for the environment.
