Description |

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitable candidate to take on the new role of GIS and Habitats Data Officer at the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Environmental Records Centre (CPERC). CPERC is hosted by the Wildlife Trust BCN and based at the Wildlife Trust BCN offices in Cambourne, and as the Local Environmental Records Centre for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough is the central source for biodiversity information for the area. We work with a wide range of data users and providers, and the GIS and Habitats Data Officer will take the lead in managing habitat information for the centre.
Candidates should possess significant GIS experience and have the desire to apply that to improving local biodiversity information for the purposes of aiding nature conservation, planning and scientific research. Strong data management skills, including working to high standards of accuracy and organisation, are essential.
Job Details: £25,000 per annum, full time (37.5 hours per week)
