Description |

Do you want to be a part of a ground-breaking approach to saving species from extinction? Back from the Brink is a new £6.6million HLF-funded programme delivered by a partnership of England’s leading nature conservation organisations. We are building a team of enthusiastic and experienced individuals across the partnership to undertake conservation work and inspire the nation to discover, value and act for threatened species.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Conservation Officer to oversee a programme of limestone grassland management to conserve threatened wildlife in the Cotswolds. Working closely with local partners, landowners and volunteers you must be an outstanding communicator with experience of working with and training volunteers, and organising work parties. Practical habitat management and strong organisational skills are essential with knowledge of limestone grassland habitats desirable.
Interviews will take place at Butterfly Conservation’s Head Office week commencing 22 May 2017.
