Description

If the prospect of developing and delivering a strategy to engage the corporate sector in tackling the climate and nature crises excites you, then this is the role for you.  You will take the lead on developing partnerships between Kent Wildlife Trust and companies, with a focus on income generation.  Working closely with our conservation teams, you will engage businesses in a range of ground breaking projects such as our bison release, wilder carbon and chough reintroduction.  At Kent Wildlife Trust, we know that the private sector is critical to achieving our goals of a wilder Kent. You will take ownership of the programme, developing strategy, identifying new and managing existing corporate partners and developing compelling propositions to take to the market.

You:

You will have a wealth of experience developing corporate partnerships in the charity sector, or working in a CSR/ESG environment in the corporate sector.  You will have a keen understanding of the value that partnerships can bring to both charities and business, be an excellent communicator and comfortable interacting with business leaders.  You will need to promote our corporate partnerships agenda both internally and externally, driving income generation to support our conservation goals.  Ideally you will have experience working in the conservation sector but for the right candidate, this is not necessary.  We are willing to consider candidates with a wide range of backgrounds and experience to ensure we get the right person in this role.

Kent Wildlife Trust is the leading wildlife charity for Kent and Medway, supported by its members and staffed by committed professionals.  Join our team and help us create a Wilder Kent! In return we will inspire you, listen to you, value you, treat you equally and fairly, look after your health and wellbeing and encourage flexibility from day one, enabling you to draw on these benefits to be a better, happier and more productive you.
