Groundwork London's Corporate Partnerships Programme aims to make Groundwork London the “go-to” green charity in London that corporates approach for their employee engagement and corporate volunteering events.
The Corporate Partnerships Community Gardener supports the Corporate Partnership Officer in servicing Corporate Volunteering engagement needs through both practical and skills based volunteering opportunities and inspiring and motivating participants. They are responsible for planning, preparing and facilitating a range of practical and skilled volunteering events, including creating community gardens, public open space maintenance and furniture upcycling workshops
The post holder will take a lead in the practical delivery of all corporate volunteering events, focusing on task planning, event set up, health and safety planning and execution, supervision of event volunteers and supporting the establishment of a positive, proactive environment. Experience in facilitating and supervising corporate employee engagement events or group volunteering is essential.
Excellent communication skills and an ability to dynamically engage with corporate volunteers are essential. A strong understanding and knowledge in community gardening, carpentry, food growing and nature conservation are required. A basic understanding and knowledge of furniture upcycling are beneficial.
A full and clean driving licence is essential for this post.
