Description

Globally and nationally wildlife is in steep decline. We appear to be reaching critical tipping points around the loss of biodiversity as well as around climate change, both being interlinked. Human society cannot prosper without wildlife and healthy ecosystems.??? ??

Kent’s wildlife needs to be restored to much higher levels. We can no longer allow common things to become rare. We can only do this by restoring large-scale natural habitat areas and processes. Doing this will contribute to solving global problems. But we won’t be able to do this unless we publicly aspire to a higher level of impact and show that we can deliver this.

The Job

This post will ensure that the Trust’s brand and visual guidelines are consistently always applied and adhered to both internally and externally and will provide support to the existing design team. The purpose of this role is to produce high quality digital and offline assets both in terms of design, imagery, photography, video and content. This includes designing for traditional media such as print collateral and interpretation as well as the production of digital assets covering the web, email, social channels and digital content such as video, gifs and HTLM5, ensuring that the Trust continues to be regarded for the high quality of its visual communication.

The content creator will manage their day-to-day priorities through an account management system acting as an in-house asset studio and treating colleagues as internal clients. There may be scope for producing work for external clients also.

This is a post which will use a broad mixture of skills with a focus on helping us increase and innovate our content delivery ensuring we stay ahead of the curve and engage with a wider range of the community. The qualities of the individual appointed to the post will play a large part in determining the nature of the job.
