Consultant Ecologist, Southampton – UK Established Ecological Consultancy.
We are hiring!
A Southampton based ecological consultancy is expanding its team in time for 2019 through the appointment of a new Consultant grade Ecologist.
You will be given the opportunity to support and lead key projects across the South Coast of England. This means you will work with public and private sector clients through the whole life cycle of a project, from quotation through to completion.
Salary: £22,000 to £27,000 + Benefits.
Reporting to: Principal Ecologist, Southampton.
The right candidate will be educated to degree level in an environmental/ecological discipline and hold at least 3 year’s professional consultancy experience. This will demonstrate an ability to conduct a variety of surveys, as well as leading teams of field ecologists, liaising with high calibre clients and writing reports.

Other attributes sought after will include:
- Possession of one or more protected species licences (EPS a distinct advantage)
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Bright and enthusiastic
- Willingness to learn and develop
- Ability to travel for site work
- CIEEM membership
