Conservation Officer -Temporary (part time) Temporary to end March 2014 You will work with farmers, landowners and conservation partners to encourage traditional land management, primarily grazing, across the National Park. Pembrokeshire is home to many iconic habitats and species – our challenge is to conserve and increase them. Primarily, you will need previous experience in conservation land management and an ability to work with landowners/farmers; also a bilingual speaker (Welsh/English) ideally, with an understanding of current conservation issues and knowledge of ecological science. Our offices are in Pembroke Dock – we are happy to discuss with candidates how they will work the hours and what area of the National Park they will cover.
