Supporters are the life and soul of Greenpeace. Our strength as an organisation comes from the fact that more than 60,000 New Zealanders lend us their voice, provide us with essential funding and make us a force to be reckoned with. Decision makers are compelled to listen to us because, when we advocate for the well being of the planet, we do so with the huge support we have from everyday Kiwis acting with us.

Inspiring other Kiwis to get on board and support us is essential in delivering our goal of a green and peaceful future. One of the most valuable ways that we recruit new supporters is through our Face to Face Outreach team whom inform the public about the urgent issues we work on and inspire them to support us by becoming regular monthly donors.

The Community Outreach Co-ordinator works side by side with the Community Outreach Programme Manager to build and support an amazing nationwide team and programme. He or she is responsible for delivering effective recruitment, training, motivation and development of staff to meet our organisational and fundraising goals. Most of all this person is inspiring and leading their staff to excel.

Our vision as a fundraising team is to deliver to supporters experiences of Greenpeace and our campaigns that truly engage them. We look to develop a sense of belonging and community, so each supporter feels like a member of our team and that their individual support counts. We want our supporters experiences with us to be different, better and more rewarding than any other organisation in NZ.
