Groundwork London have partnered with Essex & Suffolk Water to deliver the ‘Every Drop Counts’ project in Barking area in London borough of Barking & Dagenham. Every Drop Counts is a water saving campaign which aims to help customers save water, energy and money. The Community champion’s role is to engage residents of Barking in the campaign and to promote and sign up the home water audits that are on offer by Essex & Suffolk water.
The Community champion undertakes engagement with local communities and uses their knowledge of environmental sustainability specifally in water use, and support the project through their ability to work in close partnership with a wide range of stakeholders including, local communities, voluntary organisations, local authorities, housing associations and the general public.
An excellent team player, you have sound experience in sustainability and engagement as well as sound Microsoft Corporate applications (MS Office) knowledge and skills.
