The Communications Manager will be an integral member of the team responsible for designing and delivering an annual communications strategy that is in line with the needs and mission of the organisation.
This post will combine strategic thinking with editorial instincts including the ability to write excellent copy. The Communications Manager will be involved with all aspects of communications delivery, using online and other appropriate tools.
Julie’s Bicycle is a small mission-driven organisation that has a global impact, effective communications and strategic positioning of our work is critical in, and to, everything we do. The Communications Manager will also be directly supporting the team in delivering our events marketing activity.
Julie’s Bicycle team members hold responsibility for their own projects, working collaboratively across activities, and supporting each other in a non-hierarchical manner. You will be working closely with the Programme Managers and the CEO of the company, as well as collaborating with our freelance PR and marketing Associates.
Terms and conditions
Contract: Full time, fixed term until April 2018 (Possibility to extend)
Salary: £30,000 per annum (pro-rata)
Location: Somerset House, New Wing, The Strand
