Are you a creative, people person with a passion for trees and the environment? The Tree Council is hiring a Communications Manager (Maternity Cover) for the Establishing Trees Outside Woodland (Shared Outcomes Fund) programme. This role lies at the heart of a partnership including The Tree Council, Defra, Natural England and five local authorities. Applicants need 2+ years experience in project communications, excellent interpersonal skills, and to be highly organised. The role is responsible for sharing the results of innovative project trials that explore ways of successfully establishing trees outside woodland – including those in urban areas and on farmland. You will need to engage with multiple stakeholders, the public and the media, to help increase tree cover and ecological restoration in the future.
