Chess Valley Farming Officer: River Chess Smarter Water Catchment Initiative

Do you have a passion for conservation and working with farmers to help improve the natural environment at a catchment scale?   We are looking for a Farming Officer to help deliver our plans for improving biodiversity and water quality in the Chess catchment. 

The successful post holder will work across the Chess catchment to build strong and trusted relationships with farmers and land managers, encouraging and supporting farmer-led collaborative approaches. You will create and deliver bespoke advice and support packages to help achieve a better functioning river catchment with multiple benefits for nature and people. They will also work with local community river groups to coordinate and support volunteer conservation work.
