Essex Wildlife Trust is the county’s leading wildlife charity. It has more than 36,000 members, manages and protects over 8,400 acres of land on 87 nature reserves and 2 Nature Parks and runs 11 Visitor Centres. The aim of Essex Wildlife Trust is to Protect Wildlife for the Future and for the People of Essex. It is supported financially by members, local businesses and grant making organisations. It is one of the largest of the 47 county wildlife trusts that work together throughout the British Isles as The Wildlife Trusts.
We have an exciting opportunity for a person with significant catering experience to take our catering offer to the next level. Experience of front of house, food safety, EPOS systems and excellent communication skills are also essential to the success of this role.
Responsibilities include:

Ensuring a consistently high-quality food offer across the 11 Visitor Centres.

Ensuring the Trust’s vision of a locally produced, seasonal offer is developed which supports our brand image

Ensuring compliance procedures are in place and adhered too
-
Overseeing and authorising all new product proposals
-
Training and advising staff on efficient ways of working
-
Supporting and guiding Centre Teams on their catering offer.

Supporting the achievement of income and profit targets
