Are you passionate about getting kids outdoors? Enabling them to push themselves and learn something new? We want enthusiastic people to join our level 3 outdoor activity instructor apprenticeship. You will be learning from our experienced instructors, empowering you to run sessions for a wide variety of groups. Activities range from nature studies to ropes courses, climbing to orienteering and history to craft sessions. Visitors are mostly primary aged, though we do welcome some secondary schools, community and SEND groups.
We will provide you with free private accommodation (including utilities) in a shared staff flat as well as all meals while groups are on site.
You will start on apprenticeship minimum wage (£750 pcm plus London weighting) raising to national minimum wage after 12 months.
We work a 36 hour week and the council offers 30 days annual leave on top of bank holidays and days off in lieu for occasional weekend or evening work.
You will receive an extensive training package including some in house and some nationally recognised qualifications in a wide range of areas.
