Assistant/Seasonal Ecologist – Guildford.
We have a fantastic position available for an Assistant Ecologist to join a UK established multidisciplinary consultancy ahead of the new survey season in 2019.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
1. BSc and/or MSc in environmental science or equivalent
2. Some ecological consultancy experience (placement or voluntary work considered)
3. Full, clean UK driving licence
4. Graduate CIEEM membership
5. First class verbal and written communication skills
6. Ability to work unsociable hours
Our client requires the services of Assistant Ecologists on a seasonal basis to assist the existing ecology team with multiple protected species surveys. These will primarily include a variety of Bat surveys, GCN surveys and Phase 1 Habitat surveys.
Office Location: Guildford.
Salary: £16,000 to £20,000 (depending on experience).
Position: 6 to 9-month fixed term contract (possibility of extension depending on personal performance and workload).
