Based in the stunningly beautiful Krabi Province of Thailand, this 20 week traineeship program will provide you with both professional qualifications and practical teaching experience, as well as opening the door to future work opportunities in South East Asia. Starting with a 10 week training course you will complete a 100 hour TEFL (teach English as a foreign language) certification run in conjunction with practical teaching experience. At the end of this ten week phase you will embark on a further 10 weeks of practical teaching with GVI partners in Thailand, Laos or Cambodia. GVI offers a job placement service to all GVI TEFL graduates, to help you find paid positions in the TEFL Industry.
Training Includes:

The training base is located in the Krabi Province, close to a number of natural attractions including mountains, waterfalls, caves, mangroves and white-sand beaches. The base has running water, electricity, a basic kitchen, a communal area, a small library and dorm-room accommodations with bunk beds. The TEFL training will take place on base, and the English Language lessons and other presentations will principally be conducted at the local community center.
