We need your help to welcome visitors to this developing reserve and enhance their experience, to staff the reception, to inform and enthuse visitors. The role will involve some membership recruitment too.
We need someone who is good with people, has a friendly disposition, enthusiasm for conservation, as well as tact and diplomacy. Natural history and conservation knowledge is a distinct advantage, but a willingness to learn is essential.
The role will give you the opportunity to be the public face of the RSPB on one of the Society's reserves and to be an essential part of a friendly and dedicated team, which relies heavily on volunteer support. We can help you gain skills and give you a valuable insight into our work.
Appropriate training will be provided and expenses will be reimbursed where necessary.
