Our Kent Events Officer would love a team of volunteers who can help him at events all around the county. Your role would be helping him to recruit more members for the RSPB, and giving general support throughout - helping to set up marquees, talk to members of the public, and take down displays at the end of the day.
We want enthusiastic, people-loving individuals, who are not afraid to engage with the public about becoming RSPB members. You need to be happy working outdoors and on your feet for long days, and be an energetic, friendly addition to our presence at public events. Experience in a sales/retail position could be helpful, and an interest in the environment/nature is essential.
Minimum commitment is one day a month, up to however much time you'd like to give us - dates are flexible to suit you.
