Wellbeing Programme Officer (x2 posts)

Salary : £24,187.30 pa

Hours : 37.5 hours per week

Based : Devizes, Wiltshire with extensive work in Swindon.

Wellbeing Programme Administrator

Salary: £17,000 pa (pro rata)

Hours: 22.5 hours per week  (flexible working hours)

Based: Devizes, Wiltshire

Working with the Wellbeing Programme, you will have the opportunity to support one of Wiltshire Wildlife Trust’s flagship programmes.  The Wellbeing Programme works to put people with a range of issues back in touch with nature and works in a holistic way to engage and support them to better mental and physical health. 

Funding from the Big Lottery Fund has enabled the Trust to expand its successful Wellbeing Programme into Swindon with a focus on working with veterans, people with a Black and Minority Ethnic background and people within the probation service. 

You will be part of a team with years of experience and you will have the chance to genuinely help people and enable them to make a change to their environment while improving their mental health and gaining support and experience for future work and volunteering opportunities.

Programme Officer

To be a successful Programme Officer you will need to develop and maintain close links and partnerships with a range of referral agencies and be able to build meaningful relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.  You will have an understanding of community health and mental health issues and experience of delivering outdoor activities is essential.  Most importantly, you will be an excellent communicator with a positive attitude who is able who think on their feet and enjoys a challenge.

Programme Administrator

To be a successful Programme Administrator you will need to be organized and be able to help the Wellbeing Team to operate efficiently.  You will be an excellent communicator who is as happy to chat to a partner organisation as you are to call a client and remind them about a group.  Your role as Programme Administrator will be crucial to support the work the team do across the county and will manage everything from booking venues to managing diaries and collating information for funders reports.

This is a four year project.  Some evening and weekend working will be required.

Closing Date:           Midnight – Sunday 11th September, 2016.  Successful candidates will be notified by 5pm on Wednesday 14th September, 2016. If you have not heard from us by this time then unfortunately you will have been unsuccessful.
