Description  

In the important and challenging role of a Field Tutor you will develop, plan and deliver ‘out-of-classroom learning’ activities to a wide ranging audience; engaging and enthusing students and assisting FSC achieve its goal of ‘Bringing Environmental Understanding to All though first-hand experience’.  You will be expected to lead groups of all abilities in the natural environment with the ability to provide an appropriate standard of care for our learners. You will also contribute to all other aspects of running a busy residential education centre. Previous experience is essential, as is knowledge of the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence and a degree in either Geography/Biology or closely allied discipline.  Training will be given to help you develop your competence.  You’ll also be confident in working both in a team and independently and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Salary Range: £18,397 - £20,994 per annum
