Analyst/Consultant in Forestry
We offer a challenging career path with the leading global forest industry consultants covering the entire forest industry supply chain from forest through to industry. The successful candidate will work within a dynamic project-based environment focusing on delivering solutions to our global client base, and will be located in our London office.

This specific role is to work with the Forestry team in London delivering management consulting assignments across the entire Forest value chain, from resource assessments, a range of forest investment services through supply chain logistics and market studies. The work can include strategic assessments, technical & operational analysis, due diligences, financial analysis, and market and policy research. The successful candidate is expected to have some experience of working in these fields.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to the complete project delivery process, including collation and analysis of data, market and industry research, technology and management analysis, solution design, implementation planning and realisation.

- Support the engagement manager and/or client relationship manager.
- Support knowledge management and develop innovative solutions for our clients.
- Successful candidates will also be involved in the sales process.

Requirements
- Candidates must have at least two to three years working experience in the forestry sector, or associated industries 

- Fluency in English is essential and a second language is advantageous.
- A high degree of analytical, numerical and statistical skills
- Educated to degree level with a degree relevant to the advertised role
- Advanced knowledge of Excel 
- A good understanding of all technical aspects of forestry
- A knowledge of forest valuations and wood flow modelling is advantageous
- Experience in fast growing eucalyptus and pine plantations in Latin America, Oceania and       Africa is advantageous
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Good presentation and facilitation skills
- Flexibility to travel and work abroad
- Willingness to work in a variety of different roles and across sectors
- EU citizen or have a valid UK work permit.
