An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, enthusiastic and organised individual to work within the recycling team. The Dorset Waste Partnership has rolled out the 'recycle for Dorset' collection service over the last 3 years which has helped recycling rates achieve around 60%. A key aim for the recycling team is to encourage residents to recycle more, reduce waste and improve the street scene. The role will achieve this through developing a wide variety of initiatives, undertaking talks, events and by working with schools. There will also be day to day enquiries to resolve, often relating to the 'recycle for Dorset' service.
You will need to be educated to an A level standard and / or have significant experience in a similar role.
