Description  

Durlston Country Park NNR is owned and managed by Dorset County Council for people and wildlife.
DCC has received a development grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund’s Parks for People funding stream to develop a portfolio of projects that will identify, revitalise and celebrate the Pleasure Grounds for nature and community.

DCC is seeking an experienced Project Officer to develop a £1million Round 2 application for submission in autumn 2017 to implement this exciting project.

Supported by the Project Leader, Steering Group, Working Groups, Project Manager, Rangers and Stakeholders, the Project Officer will:

•    Produce the HLF Round 2 application including the Activity Plan and Fundraising Plan
•    Co-ordinate production of the Project Management Plan
•    Co-ordinate production of an Interpretation Plan and the Management and Maintenance plan
•    Co-ordinate project work of Working Groups, Consultants, Volunteers and Staff
•    Help the Project Team define management objectives and activity outcomes
•    Contribute to research, consultation and development of relationships with partners and stakeholders
•    Consult with new audiences and support the Project Team to define target audiences  
•    Assist in developing Pilot Projects
•    Contribute creatively to proposals
•    Contribute to recording and monitoring of budgets
•    Contribute to the Risk Register
