Here at WRG, our aim is to make serious in-roads into dealing with the way the UK handles its waste. This means offering our customers a wide range of waste treatments, such as recycling to composting and landfill. We're working to reduce the nation's reliance on landfill and investing heavily in recycling solutions.
With accountability for all environmental monitoring, this is a highly responsible role involving leachate management, the validation of laboratory analysis data and the writing of reports for the regulator. In providing key support for the Site Technical Manager, you'll also ensure any breaches are properly reported and supervise contractors carrying out infrastructure installation. In all you do, you'll be expected to work in an efficient, safe and cost effective way.
Whether degree educated or experienced in an environmental or leachate role, you will need a performance driven, collaborative approach, strong influencing skills and the ability to respond quickly and positively to change. You should also be capable of adding value to the decision making process and adept at handling shifting priorities.
