Type:              Bursary

Hours:            Full Time (37.5hrs per week)

Location:       1 Placement in Wiltshire and 1 placement in Somerset

Salary:     £6750 bursary in monthly payments of £750 

Both Wiltshire & Somerset Wildlife Trusts have a Volunteer and Community Engagement training placement available for 9 months from 9th January 2017 for enthusiastic and highly motivated trainee’s interested in a career in wildlife conservation.

Introduction to traineeship
With funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund Somerset and Wiltshire Wildlife Trusts have been delivering a highly successful trainee programme for three years. The programme recruits people aged 18-25 and provides full time, high quality formal and informal training opportunities to equip young people with the skills and experience to develop a career in the conservation sector.

A bursary of £750 a month will be paid to trainees with a further completion payment also payable.

There is no salaried position offered on completion of the programme.
