Wiltshire Wildlife Trust (WWT) requires an experienced botanical surveyor to deliver their Wildlife Sites Project. WWT is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate team member to take on this important and extremely rewarding role.
The successful applicant will play a key role in surveying, protecting and advising on the management of Wiltshire’s network of Wildlife Sites. They will have direct experience of landowner liaison and agri-environmental schemes and an excellent understanding of habitats and habitat management requirements along with excellent botanical skills. The post holder will also have experience of liaising with statutory agencies and local authorities.
The project is overseen by the Wildlife Sites Partnership which comprises of Wiltshire Council, Swindon Borough Council, Natural England, the Forestry Commission, Wiltshire Wildlife Trust and other organisations with an interest in identifying and maintaining the network of County Wildlife Sites (CWS).
A full, clean driving licence is a requirement for this post.
