Description |

With funding from Anglian Water, PECT will be working in Peterborough during the first three months of 2017 to help people reduce their water and electricity bills by reducing their usage. The Anglian Water Bits and Bobs campaign is designed to help address these challenges through behaviour change advice and, where possible, retrofitting water saving devices to residents homes.
The programme hopes to visit around 15,000 homes across the region, saving on average £40 a year and approximately 41 litres of water per household each day. PECT will be assisting Anglian Water with this target by signing up 1500 Peterborough residents to the scheme. Project Officers will be responsible for making contact with members of the public via door knocking and organising their ‘Bits and Bobs’ visit. This is an ideal role for those seeking a temporary role or for gaining experience working in the environmental / community sector.
