Description

Bonsucro, the global sugarcane platform, is a global membership organisation committed to supporting sugarcane producers to improve as well as supply chains to demonstrate their commitment to sustainable sourcing.

A critical part of our strategy is the implementation of a technology platform that will allow producers to benchmark their performance and buyers (including many global brands) to get true transparency of their supply-chains.  We have completed the selection process for a preferred IT partner, and are looking for someone with a suitable mix of technical expertise, and project management experience to fill the new role of Technology Implementation Manager.

Based in our London office, the role will also be responsible for owning and developing Bonsucro’s broader IT systems landscape, potentially including identifying further new opportunities for technology to help Bonsucro deliver its global strategy. To this end, the role holder will work closely with all Bonsucro staff, in particular the Programmes Team and the Standard & Innovation Team.

We are looking for someone with strong skills in planning and partnership working.  The post holder will need previous experience in rolling-out IT based solutions from a customer/user based perspective. The preferred candidate will also have experience in working with stakeholders to ensure the user-friendliness of systems and in providing appropriate training to a variety of users. System users will be all over the world, so prior international experience would be an advantage.

Being a relatively small organisation with a global reach, and a challenging ambition, the successful candidate will bring a flexible approach and a willingness to adapt to arising issues while respecting local differences. Knowledge of sustainability standards and agricultural supply chains would be a bonus.
