Programme Manager - Circular Healthcare

You will lead the development and implementation of HCWH Europe’s circular healthcare strategy and work programme, managing a team of experts and supporting the healthcare sector in phasing out unnecessary single-use products and toxic chemicals and becoming a torchbearer for sustainable supply chains and sustainable resource management.

Projects Officer - Circular Healthcare

Brussels or remote | Full-time, four-day week (8h/day) | Deadline: 22 May 2024

You will assist in developing international projects focused on improving healthcare sustainability in Europe and securing clinician buy-in, delivering projects which aim, for example, to develop a new ‘eco-maternity’ model or pilot reusable textiles solutions, supporting its implementation with partners in Europe. You will hereby collaborate with partner hospitals and universities to explore how circular, plastic-free, and non-toxic medical items and textiles can be strengthened and implemented.

Circular Economy Projects Assistant (Internship)

Brussels | Full-time, four-day week (8h/day) | Deadline: 22 May 2024

You will support activities within HCWH Europe’s Circular Healthcare work programme, which aims to reduce the negative environmental and health impact of the products used in the European healthcare sector. The role will have a particular focus on the overuse of disposable plastics in European hospitals. The ideal candidate will have an interest in environmental issues and human health.

Circular Economy Research and Training Coordinator

Brussels | Full-time, four-day week (8h/day) | Deadline: 26 May 2024

You will lead the organisation of training and educational activities, coordinating research and data collection in a portfolio of circular healthcare projects. These pilot projects aim to reduce plastic usage and gradually phase out toxic chemicals in healthcare settings, demonstrating the benefits and positive impacts of the good practices implemented.

Executive Director

We are looking for a leader with a passion for HCWH’s purpose and mission with significant leadership experience including empowering and leading other leaders in organisations of a similar size and/or complexity. You will also be someone with a track record in a relevant organisation such as healthcare, environment and/or aligning International NGO and educated to a minimum of post-graduate level.
