Description  

The Project Manager will be accountable for managing current and new offshore marine environmental projects for Seiche Environmental, from inception, through operations to the delivery of a high-quality end product.  This will involve ensuring that the technical, financial, contractual, quality, HSE and other obligations are met in accordance with both company and client standards.  In addition, you will have responsibility for the marketing and growth of the company through the development a comprehensive client-base at conferences, meetings and the promotion of Seiche’s environmental services.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to liaise and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and clients. This will include client visits and presentations, as well as the assessment, preparation and submissions of tenders and the subsequent follow up actions.  We are looking for somebody that has a proven ability to build strong face to face relationships, can negotiate effectively, manage conflict for positive outcomes and be a proactive and confident ambassador for supporting the company’s growth agenda.

For both roles we are looking for confident individuals with a can do attitude and enjoy being challenged. enthusiastic individuals with a real passion for the marine environment, especially marine mammals, seabirds, fisheries, EIA production and underwater acoustics.  Ideally you will have a degree in a marine sciences related subject as well as experience in the field of marine mammals or underwater acoustics.  Previous offshore experience in an environmental role would be hugely advantageous.

These are office based positions in Seiche’s Norwich or Devon offices.  Travel between the various company sites is to be expected and there may be the requirement to undertake occasional travel around the world.

As well as a competitive salary, that reflects experience and qualifications these roles will also offer annual holidays of 25 working days, plus UK Bank Holidays and a company pension contribution of 5% of gross salary.
