Description |
|
This post requires a motivated and skilled person to ensure the effective day-to-day management of this upland nature reserve. Key skills needed are;
• A thorough knowledge of local natural history • The ability to undertake detailed ecological survey work • A knowledge of practical countryside management and access improvement works • Sound communication and report writing skills
This postholder will be required to work with the Reserve Committee and other reserve stakeholders. They will have excellent field naturalist skills and in particular, have butterfly and botanical survey and monitoring skills.
The role demands the aptitude and ability to work in a challenging, outdoor environment.
