Salary:            £30,000

Hours:             37.5 (Flexible hours)

Wiltshire Wildlife Trust (WWT) is looking for an experienced and innovative Manager to lead and develop the work undertaken by Chalkhill Environmental Consultants (CEC), a subsidiary company wholly owned by WWT. The Trust is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate team member to take on this important and rewarding role.

The successful applicant will be responsible for, managing, developing and expanding the services provided by CEC. They will have an excellent working knowledge of protected species and habitat surveys, wildlife legislation and the ability to compile technically competent reports.  They will be able to produce accurate tender documents and have responsibility for preparing and managing budgets. The post holder will have experience of liaising with and advising developers, statutory agencies and local authorities.  They will be able to advise clients on key ecological constraints that affect development projects and clearly communicate biodiversity enhancement opportunities.

There will be requirement to line manage one part time member of staff.

A full, clean driving licence is a requirement for this post.
