Description  

The UN Environment World Conservation Monitoring Centre is looking for a highly motivated and competent Manager to oversee the continued growth of the Integrated Biodiversity Assessment Tool (IBAT).

Your challenge is to continue to drive growth via new users while also broaden uptake of the new IBAT across additional sectors. A strategic thinker and commercially minded individual, you will have a proven track record in managing complex multi-client projects. You will have strong relationship management skills, and be keen to collaborate with partners and end users to see biodiversity knowledge improve decisions for sustainable development.

With experience in developing people’s capacity, you’ll manage a team around you, to deliver IBAT’s full potential over the longer-term. You’ll enjoy working with an international team from four leading conservation organisations. IBAT is the joint work of BirdLife International, Conservation International, IUCN and UNEP-WCMC. Please note that this post is hosted by UNEP-WCMC on behalf of the IBAT Alliance, the role is accountable to a Governance Committee of senior management from each of the four Alliance members.
