We are looking for well-motivated candidates with a good first degree (upper second or higher) in a numerate scientific or engineering discipline. A relevant postgraduate qualification would be advantageous, but not essential.

Required Skills
• Good first degree (upper second or higher) in a numerate scientific or engineering discipline
• Knowledge and demonstrable experience in hydrological analysis
• Knowledge and demonstrable experience in 1D and/or 2D hydraulic modelling
• Good organisational skills
• Good report writing and communication skills

Desirable Skills
• Experience in undertaking drainage and SUDS design
• Good working knowledge of flood risk regulation and planning requirements
• Use of GIS packages to analyse problems

There will be opportunity for the candidate to progress into project management and business development activities. This post would be suitable for a graduate or a candidate with up to two years’ experience.
