Principal tasks:
1) Dealing with customer and potential customer queries by telephone and email and in person: a. preparing quotes, providing product pricing and delivery information for customers b. providing customers with updates on progress on existing orders c. taking card payments over the phone and face-to-face d. contacting customers as needed to ensure smooth deliver of orders.
2) Maintaining data and records:
a. Creating, updating and correcting order information on the online store
b. Updating and correcting product and customer data
c. Producing and sending invoice information for customers.
3) Dealing with suppliers and couriers
a. Following up customer order questions with suppliers
b. Packing and preparing orders for collection by couriers/carriers
c. Getting stock and product update information from suppliers
4) Develop a good knowledge of the products we sell
5) Liaising with company directors as needed
6) Liaising with others working or contracting for Passivhaus Homes
7) Receiving visitors and deliveries to office premises
8) Other duties as directed
Hours: 9am to 5pm or other to be agreed by negotiation
Person specification
- Good customer-facing and people skills
- Able to manage multiple work tasks / streams concurrently
- An interest in / enthusiasm for ultra-low energy building / Passivhaus
- Good PC productivity – use of Office and cloud-based applications
Good numeracy skills
