In 2011 waste services in Dorset underwent a radical transformation with the formation of the Dorset Waste Partnership (DWP), becoming the first of its kind in the UK. By bringing together seven Dorset councils it's delivered major improvements in minimising waste, increasing recycling and driving down costs.

Now we have an opportunity for an experienced Commercial Services Manager to move the partnership forward, by continuing to develop our income generating traded services.  Leading the office based staff at DWP HQ in Dorchester, you’ll need to excel in delivering services to customers, with skills in people management, marketing, systems and processes, and budget management, all whilst keeping our many stakeholders satisfied.
