Description  

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to work directly with stakeholders to encourage more integrated working to improve the water environment and deliver wider benefits for people and nature. The work will complement existing initiatives to deliver actions in the Broadland Rivers Catchment Plan produced by the Broadland Catchment Partnership.

The post is hosted by the Broads Authority which cares for the Broads - an internationally important protected wetland environment with status equivalent to a National Park.                                       

The exciting new role is responsible for: facilitating the development of river restoration, land management and natural flood management projects and schemes; collating and presenting information on current activities and opportunities as a shared resource; organising partner meetings and workshops; and collating and disseminating updates and best practice via newsletters and social media to reach wider stakeholders and communities.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree with an environmental science background and experience of GIS, website and data management, communication and engagement experience combined with excellent organisational abilities and interpersonal skills.

The closing date for applications is 5pm on Thursday 20 April.

Interviews will be held at Yare House, Norwich during the first week of May.
