The Central Scotland Green Network (CSGN) seeks to change the face of Central Scotland, by restoring and transforming the landscape of an area stretching from Ayrshire and Inverclyde in the west, to Fife and the Lothians in the east.
We are looking to recruit an Assistant Development Officer who will work within an existing team to support the various tasks involved in engaging with communities, landowners and wider stakeholders to realise greenspace ambitions. Supporting a team of 5 Development Officers the role will be to undertake various tasks that contribute to the physical delivery of greenspace interventions from the earliest concept of delivery through consultation; planning permissions; fundraising; and passing the project to the implementation team for delivery on the ground.
Applications are sought from motivated individuals looking to enhance their knowledge and experience in development of environmental projects that will contribute to the CSGN.
This is a temporary 12 month post (35 hours per week) based in our offices in Shotts, North Lanarkshire. We offer flexible working arrangements. Travel within Central Scotland will be required; a clean driving licence and access to a car are essential.
